Because of my passion for learning and creating art, it was inevitable that when a friend was tattooing me that I began to ask questions about the process. These in-depth conversations continued every time I was being tattooed by others until I decided to really apply my abilities to the art of tattooing.
Academic Chops
I completed my Bachelors at Tyler School of Art majoring in Glassblowing. I regularly paint and draw in addition to creating sculptures out of any materials or mediums I can get my hands on.
Based on my heavy art-intensive background it was an easy jump from my usual colored pencils and brushes to applying pigment to skin.
Although I never took a formal apprenticeship I began tattooing professionally in 2005. There have been many people who have helped me advance in the art of tattooing. None more than my employers at Mercury Tattoo in Glenside.
Setting An Appointment.
I am currently tattooing at www.Davidiantattoo.com|Davidian Tattoo| in Hatboro PA. Commonly, we like to have a consultation to talk to you about your work and a second consultation to show you what we came up with so we are on the same page. Custom tattoos that require sketching/drawing are subject to a minimum $50 deposit to hold your appointment following completion of a drawing. This deposit amount is then subtracted from the total cost of the piece on your appointment date. Please provide 24 hour notice on custom tattoo appointment cancellations to avoid forefitting your deposit. You can set up a consultation by calling and speaking to our receptionist or leaving a detailed message of your name and contact information on our answering service. (215) 441-5122
